postheadericon Palin calls Obama plan 'backasswards'

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin slammed President Obama on Twitter Sunday in a series of messages on Nevada politics.

Noting an editorial published from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, she tweeted:

What happens in Vegas shouldn't stay in Vegas;pls circulate this http://bit.ly/ddINDT

She summed up the piece a few minutes later:

LasVegas RJ editorial recaps Obama lecture 2 Runnin' Rebs: he's got most disconnected, backasswards plan ever imposed on the country we love

The Nevada theme began Sunday morning when Palin expressed her support for senate hopeful Sharron Angle, who is challenging Majority Leader Harry Reid (Nev.):

Sharon Angle's right: new workers should get to invest some Social Security withholdings in their own savings accounts & Washington cont....to pay promised benefits to older workers. What part of "The System is Going Bankrupt" don't you understand, Mr. Reid?

Obama had criticized Angle during his visit to Las Vegas Thursday.

"She favors an approach that's even more extreme than the Republicans we've got in Washington," he said, noting Angle's views on Social Security, Medicare and th! e BP oil spill. "That's saying something."
