Republican governors dominate a survey of the top ten governors on social media released Thursday. 

California Gov. Jerry Brown, a Democrat, tops the list @jerrybrowngov.

But the survey by media and technology company OhMyGov finds that 8 of the top 10 ranked governors using social media are Republicans. 

Brown is followed by Republican Govs. Jan Brewer (Ariz.) @GovBrewer, Rick Perry (Texas) @GovernorPerry, Bobby Jindal (La.) @BobbyJindal, Scott Walker (Wis.) @GovWalker, Chris Christie (N.J.) @GovChristie, Democrat Andrew Cuomo (N.Y.) @NYGovCuomo, and three more Republicans: Govs. Rick Scott (Fla.) @FLGovScott, Bob McDonnell (Va.) @bobmcdonnell, and Luis Fortuno of Puerto Rico @luisfortuno51.
