A majority says the story about Mitt Romney strapping a dog to the top of his car during a family vacation doesn't make them more or less likely to vote for the former Massachusetts governor, according to a new poll.

In a Public Policy Polling (PPP) survey released Tuesday, 55 percent say the story doesn't change whether they are likely to vote for Romney. Thirty-five percent say they are less likely and 7 percent say they are more likely to vote for Romney because of it.
