postheadericon Perry: 'It wasn't a super night for anyone'

Former presidential candidate Rick Perry said split results meant "it wasn't a super night for anyone when you think about it being Super Tuesday" and said Republican voters were still searching for the right candidate in an interview Tuesday with Fox News.

The Texas governor, whose tough debate performance collapsed his once-high poll numbers earlier in the nomination fight, said no candidate could claim victory based on the early results.

"I think everyone can stand up and say they accomplished some goals and some people can stand up and say they accomplished all the goals they tried to hit on, but the fact is no one won everything they needed to win, which I think is reflective of the southern primary voter not settling in," Perry said.
