Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine â€" who notably switched allegiances from Mitt Romney's campaign to support Rick Santorum earlier this month â€" said the former Massachusetts governor's "forces" would "do anything" to win the Republican nomination.

DeWine was answering a question about why Santorum would prevail in the March 6 "Super Tuesday" primary in Ohio, arguing that Romney's attacks of other Republican candidates would ultimately undermine his candidacy. The attorney general pointed to the Romney campaign's lobbying to secure a 16th delegate out of last Tuesday's Michigan primary as evidence of this fact.

"The Romney forces, they'll do anything. I mean, yesterday they stole a delegate in Michigan. You know, how desperate do you have to be to change the rules after the fact?" DeWine said in an interview with Bloomberg TV slated to air Friday night. "They've got robocalls out here. It's all attack, attack, attack. But Rick Santorum is going to ! win Ohio."
