postheadericon Obama to host British prime minister at NCAA game

President Obama plans to take Britain's David Cameron as his guest to a first-round game in the NCAA tournament next Tuesday.

Obama, an avid basketball fan who plays whenever he gets a chance, will take the British prime minister to Ohio for the game, according to The Associated Press. The trip is part of an official state visit by Cameron and his wife, Samantha. Their presence at a White House state dinner on Wednesday was previously announced.

Obama and Cameron have bonded over sports in the past, even exchanging beer in a friendly wager over the result of the 2010 United States-England World Cup fixture.

The NCAA brackets will be announced on Sunday, so Obama and Cameron will find out later which teams they will see play. Last year, Obama filled out a tournament bracket, and he could do so again this year.
