There is a story in The Hill by Christian Heinze, accompanied by a video, that is titled "Gingrich: Obama more sympathetic to Muslims than to Catholic Church.” I was speechless when I saw the story, but not sure that even Newt Gingrich could be this vile and nauseating. I then watched the video of Newt's original comments and it turns out that it is an excellent story and the story is correct. Newt actually said that the president is more sympathetic to radical Islamists than to Catholics.

This is a lie.

This is a lie that appeals to racism and religious bigotry.

This is a despicable and sickening comment that has no place in American politics or the Republican Party.
