Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) noted Friday that he’s going to have to up his Twitter humor standing to make a colleague’s list of “funny tweeps.”

Rep. Dennis Ross’s (R-Fla.) Follow Friday (FF) list â€" a Twitter tradition â€" is made up of his choice of the “most informative & funny tweeps” this week.

“Got some work to do to get on this,” Issa tweeted.

Issa, a regular Twitter user, tends to tweet serious posts several times a day about the Government Oversight Committee, of which he is the chairman.

Ross responded promptly to Issa, noting that he was “very close” to making the cut.

Issa and Ross recently ! sponsored a bill together, known as the Issa-Ross bill, or the Postal Reform Act of 2011, which would alter the structure of the United States Postal Service in an attempt to reduce costs of the program.
