postheadericon Democratic Rep. Andrews uses Twitter to encourage Wall Street protesters

Rep. Rob Andrews (D-N.J.) is emerging as a leading congressional voice in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement, and is leaning on Twitter to broadcast his allegiance.

Andrews posted three pro-Occupy Wall Street or anti-corporate comments on Twitter in a 24-hour span, from Sunday to Monday.

"#GOP thinks occupy protesters lack an agenda- but the protesters are real Americans waking up to #WallStreet's agenda," Andrews wrote. He links to and disputes the claim of a Washington Post opinion piece by Dan Schnur, communications director for Arizona Sen. John McCain's 2000 presidential campaign, that Occupy Wall Street needs an agenda.
