The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on Tuesday sought to tie vulnerable House Republicans in more than 40 districts to Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 tax reform plan.

Targets include Tea Party-backed freshmen Reps. Dan Benishek (R-Mich.), Larry Bucshon (R-Ind.), Frank Guinta (R-N.H.), Rick Crawford (R-Ark.), Jeff Denham (R-Calif.), David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) and Daniel Webster (R-Fla.).

A press release blasted out in the individual districts accuses the GOP representatives of supporting a tax policy “that benefits the ultra wealthy at the expense of the middle class.”
