If you were to walk up and ask any member of Congress, Republican or Democrat, what the focus of President Obama State of the Union address should be this evening, I can guarantee that their answer would be, “creating jobs.”

This recession was triggered by the bursting of the housing bubble and the ensuing foreclosure crisis. Plummeting housing prices coincided with a massive spike in unemployment, and millions of families are now facing foreclosure.   

In order to fix this mess â€" to create jobs and restore the economy for small businesses and working families â€" we absolutely must address the foreclosure crisis.
