Andy Samberg â€" a "Saturday Night Live" comedian known for his impersonation of former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel â€" will headline an event for Emanuel's Chicago mayoral campaign this week.

Politics Daily's Lynn Sweet reported Tuesday that Samberg will be the main attraction at a $50-per-person fundraiser for Emanuel in the Windy City on Friday.

The event will provide a chance for Samberg to meet the man he profanely portrays on the famous sketch-comedy program.

Samberg's appearance will follow a busy day of campaigning for Emanuel on Tuesday, when former President Clinton headlines a fundraiser and a public rally for his former deputy chief of staff.

The $5,000-pe! r-person cost to attend the Clinton fundraiser underscores the contrast between the two events. Clinton is also scheduled to headline a lower priced fundraiser, according to Politics Daily.

Multiple polls have shown Emanuel as the front-runner in the Feb. 22 mayoral primary. If no candidate receives more than 50 percent of the vote, a runoff will be held in April.

Below is a video of one of Samberg's Rahm sketches:
