postheadericon In Wisconsin, Obama flooded with Packers gear

President Obama was plied with Green Bay Packers gear upon his arrival in Wisconsin after the squad defeated his beloved Chicago Bears in the National Football Conference title game.

Obama spoke at an economic event in Manitowoc, Wis., Wednesday, but Air Force One had to land in the belly of the beast: Green Bay.

Green Bay Mayor James Schmitt and Gov. Scott Walker (R) greeted Obama and handed him two Packers jerseys, one that read "Obama 1" on the back and other bearing the name of star defensive back Charles Woodson.

According to a pool report, Woodson autographed the jersey, writing, "See you at the White House .... Go Packers!"

"They're rubbing it in," Obama said.

Woodson previously needled Obama in the Packers locker room following the game Sunday for saying he wanted to attend the Super Bowl if the Bears won.

"The president don't want to come watch us at the Super Bowl, guess what?" Woodson said. "We're going to see him."

At the top of his speech, Obama indicated he received yet another jersey.

"I already have 3 Green Bay jerseys," he said. "I've only been on the ground for an hour."
