postheadericon Obama predicting Bears win over Packers

President Obama is predicting a Bears victory in the NFC Championship matchup against the Packers this weekend.

The president thinks his Chicago Bears will prevail, 20-17, over their rivals from Green Bay in Sunday's game.

Obama will watch the game in the White House theater this weekend, according to press secretary Robert Gibbs, who added that the president was too superstitious to predict an outright win for his adopted hometown in the Super Bowl. Obama was born in Hawaii.

Obama said on Wednesday that he'd attend the Super Bowl in Dallas on Feb. 6 if the Bears make it to the title game.

The Packers are favored by 3.5 in the early game on Sunday, which will be played in Chicago. The winner of that game will face off against the winner in Sunday's AFC Championship match-up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets.
