Rep. John Fleming (R-La.), two-time champion of the House Republicans’ social media challenge, this year chose to stay on the sidelines of the annual competition, his office confirmed Monday.

Fleming “is continuing his active involvement in social media while he cheers on his colleagues and looks forward to congratulating a new winner,” Fleming’s spokesman, Doug Sachtleben, told The Hill.
