Where is Ron Paul? When I first began charging Ron Paul with being a poodle for Mitt Romney, the Paul people answered that his strategy in attacking Romney's "conservative" opponents was to remain as a candidate when all others had dropped out. So where is Paul now? If he were a legitimate candidate he would be running directly against Romney now, running ads against Romney, criticizing Romney’s positions. But instead Paul is virtually silent about Romney and, indeed, about everything else.

Ron Paul has been a great disappointment to me. He could have been a new kind of populist, building bridges between the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street movement.
