Romney participates in first-ever Google+ 'Hangout'

Mitt Romney and Fox News pioneered political use for a new social media platform on Tuesday, hosting a Google+ Hangout livestreamed for the public.
The GOP presidential front-runner and former Massachusetts governor answered live video questions from select users and interacted with Fox News host Bret Baier.
It was an unusual event in more than one way â€" Romney's campaign has so far turned down invitations to appear on Fox News Sunday shows as well as the "Center Seat" candidate segment on Fox News's "Special Report," which is hosted by Baier.
"Gov. Romney realizes it is important that he participates in new and innovative ways to share his vision for America to create jobs, rein in government and revive the economy," said Romney's spokeswoman, Andrea Saul.
