The most dangerous place in America today is atop the polls of the Republican presidential field. If you channel-surf, or read daily publications, you will see that the only economic plan put forward in the campaign has been Herman Cain's 9-9-9 tax reform idea, which has become the subject of ridicule and scorn. It was ignored completely until he surged in the polls as the leading contender. Four years ago the No. 1 candidate in the Republican poll was Giuliani at 30 percent, with McCain taking a measly 14 percent.
