Rick Perry has gone from Nevada frontrunner to fifth place, losing 25 percent of his support in a poll of likely Republican presidential caucus goers, and seeing his favorability rating drop by 39 percent.

A Magellan Strategies survey released Monday has Mitt Romney in the lead with 38 percent, followed by Herman Cain with 26 percent, Newt Gingrich with 16 percent, Ron Paul with seven percent, and Rick Perry with five percent.

Michele Bachmann came in at two percent, while Jon Huntsman, Rick Santorum and “some other candidate” all polled at one percent.

That’s a 14 percent increase for Romney from Magellan’s August poll, in which the former Massachusetts governor came! in at 22 percent. The wildest swing belonged to Perry â€" the Texas governor led the August poll with 29 percent, but shed 24 percent of his support in the latest survey.
