Herman Cain's popularity is translating to impressive poll numbers - and impressive book sales. The Republican candidate's book, "This is Herman Cain! My Journey to the White House" will debut in fourth place on the New York Times bestseller list this weekend.

Cain drew criticism last week when he prioritized his book tour over campaign events, but defended the move as an inventive way to connect with voters.

"When I can meet [voters] at a book-signing and say hello to them, and they go home excited and they're talking with their friends and relatives, call them all across the country," Cain explained after a signing in Rock Hill, S.C. "So, no, I don't apologize for these kinds of events at all, and I'm doing more of them as part of the campaign."
