We need to take a state-based approach to healthcare

As you may have heard, we are coming up on an anniversary. On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. To the uninitiated, that would be Obamacare.
To celebrate, Families USA, the advocacy group that promoted the health care law, is delivering Obamacare birthday cakes to members of Congress. I would not be surprised if the cake comes cash-on-delivery, much like the law it is celebrating.
The health care law was sold as necessary to reduce health care spending. But the real bill came due upon delivery.
