Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the U.S. military is keeping an eye on Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi's stores of mustard gas.

"He does have stores of that. A significant quantity," Mullen said on CBS's "Face The Nation." "There's no indication that he is moving towards using that but certainly that is something we are watching very carefully."

Mullen warned that "it is something that he could do a lot of damage with."

"I honestly haven't seen him move in that direction, and it's something that we think have a very good handle on right now," Mullen said.
