I am constantly perplexed by the Republicans railing against spending and deficits on the one hand and lambasting the president on the other for not doing enough to create jobs and stimulate the economy. Despite overwhelming evidence that 3.3 million jobs were saved or created, that the economy’s downward spiral was halted by Obama and the Democrats, that our entire auto sector was saved, we still hear rhetoric about “not one job created” from Republicans.

Their mantra â€" cut taxes, cut spending, cut, cut, cut.
