Today, Americans are facing a hidden epidemic.

24 million American adults suffer from diabetes and a staggering 57 million have “pre-diabetes,” a condition placing them at high risk for developing Type 2 diabetes.  Even worse, about one-quarter of individuals suffering from diabetes, and nearly 90 percent of those at high-risk of developing diabetics, are undiagnosed.  By 2018, if current trends continue, 103 million Americans will be considered obese and at risk of developing the disease. The estimated cost to our health system: $344 billion.
