postheadericon Trumka will add to anti-GOP chorus on Tuesday in Wisconsin

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka will look to bolster Democrats in Wisconsin the same day President Obama will do likewise.

The labor chief will target the GOP candidates for Senate and governor during an address to the state AFL-CIO convention in Green Bay.

"Let me tell you this: Our opponents in Wisconsin are overconfident. They’re celebrating already," Trumka will say, referring to Ron Johnson and Scott Walker, the Republican candidates for Senate and governor, respectively.

The labor chief will look to reinforce the message Obama will make during a speech at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, warning that Republican victories in a state like Wisconsin would deal a serious blow to Democrats' agenda in Congress.

Obama will look to rally young voters and encourage them to make their way to the polls, while Trumka's appearance will ostensibly be purposed with rallying the state's workers to turn out for Democrats.

Trumka will deliver a strong message in support of reelecting Sen. Russ Feingold (D) and sending Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett to the governor's mansion.

"It is within our power to put Tom Barrett in the governor’s office. Period. We have the votes," the AFL-CIO president will say. "We can keep Russ Feingold in the Senate and our champions in the House of Representatives."

The Trumka appearance comes as the administration also plans a coordinated effort to drive home its message on Tuesday. Vice President Joe Biden will appear at a rally at Penn State, and Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tim Kaine will be at the University of Delaware. Other Cabinet officials will attend similar "Move America Forward" rallies at colleges and universities across the country.

Indeed, Trumka's speech will trade in much of the same rhetoric Obama, Biden and others in the administration have used against Republicans in recent months. Trumka! will assail House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) and c! onservat ive personalities like former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Fox News host Glenn Beck.

"John Boehner is not going to be Speaker of the House. Not on our watch! Because it’s going to come down to us and we’re going to make the difference â€" district by district, a few thousand votes, a few hundred votes," he'll say. "Those will be the margins â€" the difference we make."
