postheadericon Why we are not giving enough aid to Pakistani flood victims

If you ask the proverbial man on the street what he knows about Pakistan, you might start to find the answers as to why donations have been so slow in coming to help the victims of the Pakistani flood disaster. Unfortunately for the millions of innocent flood victims, their country has long been a disaster zone in terms of its international image. Here are some examples:

1) Bin Laden and al Qaeda. Pakistan is suspected of being the place where Osama bin Laden, if he is still alive, may be hiding and where al Qaeda is still active after being displaced across the Afghan border into frontier regions that have been badly hit by the flooding. Pakistan is accused not only of harboring terrorists but of exporting terror across the world.
