postheadericon Palin weighs in on WikiLeaks

Those in charge at WikiLeaks are "unconsciously aiding/abetting the enemy" by leaking classified documents, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) tweeted Friday.

Palin, who had not previously weighed in on the July 25 leak, said:

Wikileaks: w/freedom comes responsibility.Free press protection gives no license to aid enemy;consider our own troops sacrificing for you...

Wikileaks staff-whomever's calling the shots there is unconscionably aiding/abetting the enemy;don't contribute to this. Speak out. Do right

The tweets foll! ow an announcement by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Thursday that he was preparing to publish approximately 15,000 more documents related to the war in Afghanistan.

Assange has been widely criticized for endangering the Afghans named in the first set of documents, and on the right for jeopardizing the war effort.

He said Thursday that his team is waiting to publish those documents remaining until the names have been redacted.
