postheadericon California gubernatorial candidates cross paths

Candidates for California governor Meg Whitman (R) and state Attorney General Jerry Brown (D) saw each other briefly Wednesday morning outside of a CBS studio in Los Angeles. Both tweeted the moment later.

Whitman said:

Crossed paths with Jerry Brown this AM at CBS studios in Studio City. Nice to chat with him!

Brown followed:

Met Meg briefly this morning outside of KCAL/KCBS. Looking forward to more public face-to-face discussions on the issues.

The most recent poll has Brown leading Whitman by 3 points. Nearly one in four likely voters are undecided.
