postheadericon It is time to reevaluate America's North Korean policy

It comes as no surprise that barely two months after the Obama Administration announced the progress made by the Leap Day Agreement, North Korea carried out a ballistic missile test under the weak guise of a satellite launch.

This behavior has been exhibited by North Korea for decades. The United States enters into talks with North Korea in the hopes of extracting some sort of concession on nuclear and ballistic missile development and, inevitably, North Korea tires of negotiations and responds with a provocation of some sort. 

But instead of suffering any serious consequences, North Korea gets a slap on the wrist and eventually an invitation to resume negotiations. It is clear that Kim Jong Un intends to carry on this tradition.
