Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen, who created waves this week when she said Mitt Romney's wife, Ann, had "never worked a day in her life," will appear Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." Rosen will be paired as a guest with former Republican presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), according to host David Gregory.

That sets up what will likely be a lively rehash of Rosen's comments that have dominated the political narrative this week, and keep alive a story that the president's re-election team would love nothing more than to go away.

Rosen apologized for her comments Thursday after they were widely condemned by figures on both sides of the political aisle, including President Obama.
