President Obama “pondered” the memory of Rosa Parks this week while sitting near the back of the same bus where she refused to give up her seat to a white passenger.

There was no media coverage of the moment, but Pete Souza, the official White House photographer, tweeted a link Thursday to the photo taken at the Henry Ford Museum. Souza described the photo, posted to the White House Flickr page, as "poignant."
