Obama celebrates âcommon hopesâ of Jews, non-Jews in Passover greeting

President Obama wished those celebrating the Jewish holiday Passover a “happy holiday†in Hebrew in a new video message released by the White House on Thursday. Obama’s message focuses on the Jewish people and the “common hopes†held by both Jews and non-Jews, naming the Jewish state of Israel at the end as one of the many places around the world where Passover will be celebrated.
