postheadericon Christie says he'd listen if Romney offers VP spot

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Tuesday it would be "extraordinarily arrogant" not to listen if presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney asked him to be his running mate in the 2012 election.

But Christie insisted to reporters Tuesday that he's "not looking to become vice president," according to a report from ABC News.

"I love this job and I'm not looking to do it," Christie said of the VP spot. “But I also think it is extraordinarily arrogant for you to say you won’t even listen to the nominee of your party â€" especially for me. It’s someone who I’ve been supporting since last October vigorously around the country â€" that I wouldn’t take a call from Mitt Romney."
