Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) taped a message telling her constituents she misses them, and her staff shared it through social media Tuesday.

“I’m getting stronger. I’m getting better,” Giffords said in the message.

She spoke slowly but clearly on the audio message, a result of the intensive process she has undergone to regain her ability to speak following her brain injury. Home video obtained by ABC earlier in the week showed Giffords’s struggles to say simple sentences.
