McCain congratulates Braun on MVP award

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) congratulated Major League Baseball slugger Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers for being named 2011 Most Valuable Player for the National League.
“Congrats to Ryan Braun, #NL MVP â€" @brewers beat @dbacks because of him,â€Â McCain tweeted Tuesday.Â
McCain has been a vocal fan of the Arizona Diamondba! cks and repeatedly cheered for them over Twitter during this year’s playoffs. The Brewers beat the Diamondbacks, 3 games to 2, in the National League Division Series.
Braun was named MVP earlier Tuesday.
