Jon Huntsman is now once again living in Utah.

The former Utah governor and Republican presidential candidate recently bought a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium in his homestate according to The Salt Lake Tribune. The residence is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

"I’m a resident of Utah, and I always want to be,” Huntsman said Monday. "I’d like to spend more time out there, but right now it’s all on the road."

The Utah newspaper reported that the price of the new apartment had not been publicized. The former Utah governor and presidential candidate had previously sold his last apartment in 2005 so he could move to the governor's mansion. More recently since he finished his stint as the Obama administra! tion's ambassador to China, Huntsman's home had been in Washington D.C.

"It’s my residence,” Huntsman said of the new Utah condominium. "I wanted someplace where we could return to and be as a family, return to the state, with a sort of regularity."

Huntsman had recently headquartered his presidential campaign out of Florida but after retooling his strategy with a heavy emphasis on New Hampshire, Huntsman moved his base there. Huntsman is hoping to reverse disappointing national polls and dominate in the New Hampshire primary and use the momentum from that to catapult him to the head of the pack in subsequent primaries.

Although Huntsman hails from Utah, Mitt Romney has reportedly had more success raising money in the beehive state. Bloomberg ! recently reported that the former Massachusetts governor has raised $1.9 million in Utah going through the end of September while Huntsman has raised $255,850.
