postheadericon Palin doc trailer teases film for national audience

Supporters of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) got a glimpse Friday of the ballyhooed documentary about her with the release of the theatrical trailer for the film.

Producers released a teaser trailer for "The Undefeated," the pro-Palin film produced by Stephen Bannon. The film, which has been limited to screenings by journalists and a premiere in the key 2012 state of Iowa, is set for a nationwide rollout.

The trailer echoes the film in praising Palin as an underdog who fought Democrats and members of her own party to emerge as a successful reformer. It contains no original, new footage of Palin.

If nothing else, the trailer helps build exposure for the film, which has stoked speculation that Palin might j! ump into the race for the Republican presidential nomination. She attended the premiere last month in Pella, Iowa, and has embraced its portrayal of her.

"MSM, you should check it out too. (You’ll learn the facts many of you have failed to report for the last three years as you’ve continued to do what makes you less and less relevant in our country’s discourse: you’ve chosen to just make things up.)" she wrote Wednesday on her Facebook page. "There’s a story there, but you’ll never find it if you continue lying and carrying water for the powers that be."
