Former Delaware Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell (R) praised Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) for a spot he did on Fox News on Tuesday â€" and floated the possibility of having West on the 2012 GOP presidential ticket.

"Turn to fox news. Allen West is rocking it!! West 2012," O'Donnell tweeted on Tuesday.

Shortly before O'Donnell's tweet, West reiterated his call to eradicate all tax loopholes and subsidies as part of a deficit reduction package. But restated Republicans' refusal to agree to any debt limit increase that included raising taxes.

"Everyone continues to talk about tax hikes and that's a non-starter, not just for us as a House GOP but also for the American people," West said.

He also called for a cap on federal government spending and a balanced budget amendment ! to help improve the economy and lower unemployment.
