Later this week the House Financial Services Committee will examine how well federal regulators are coordinating with one another in implementing the hundreds of rules mandated by the Dodd- Frank Act. 

This is an important hearing where lawmakers should not hold back in getting detailed responses from regulators on how each are writing regulations that are parallel in construction and sequenced properly.

Lawmakers must also question the Treasury Department on how the newly created Financial Stability Oversight Council is ensuring each of the independent regulatory agencies are working together toward the same end.
