New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg joined the cast of "Glee" to "celebrate" the last episodes of the show's second season.

"Excited to join the cast of @GLEEonFOX today to celebrate their final episodes of the 2nd season #Gleek," Bloomberg tweeted on Monday.

And a few hours later he provided a post-meetup tweet with a picture.

"They didn’t let me sing, but still an honor to welcome the cast of Glee to NYC #Gleek," he noted.

The hit Fox show is filming in New York this week for its season finale.

This isn't Bloomberg's first foray with celebrities. He taped a scene for the first "Sex and the City" movie, but the ! clip was cut. He joked at the time: "Unfortunately, my scene ended up on the cutting-room floor. Turns out they wanted more sex and less city."
