postheadericon Report: Trump to New Hampshire in June

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump plans to travel to New Hampshire in June as he considers jumping into the 2012 presidential race as a Republican.

New Hampshire TV station WMUR reported Monday that Trump will participate in the "Politics and Eggs" speaking series, a popular stop for potential candidates in the early primary state.

The announcement is a sign that Trump is looking to remain a factor in the field of candidates looking to take on President Obama. No major candidate has officially announced a bid, even though the first GOP primary debate is scheduled for early May.

Trump's visit to New Hampshire will be his first since he announced he is considering a presidential bid, according to WMUR. The host of NBC's "The Apprentice" has said he plans to make ! an official announcement in June, the same month he is set to visit the Granite State.

Last week, a business associate of Trump visited Iowa to meet with GOP officials in the first-in-the-nation primary state.

Trump has brought his trademark bravado to the political scene, belittling GOP Sen. Lamar Alexander (Tenn.) for saying he has no chance of being president.
