postheadericon In letter, Gadhafi tells Obama that he will regret no-fly zone

Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi told President Obama in a letter Saturday not to intervene in his country's rebellion.

"Libya is not yours. Libya is for all Libyans," Gadhafi wrote, according to a Libyan government spokesman quoted in The New York Times. "This is injustice, it is clear aggression, and it is uncalculated risk for its consequences on the Mediterranean and Europe."

"You will regret it if you take a step toward intervening in our internal affairs," Gadhafi said.

After the U.N. Security Council voted to intervene, Obama announced Friday that the U.S. would support a no-fly zone over Libya as Gadhafi has brutally cracked down on an uprising against his long-time rule.

Gadhafi also wrote a separate letter to British Prime Minister David Cameron, French president Nicolas Sar! kozy and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon warning against instituting the no-fly zone.
