Two GOP lawmakers have adopted a phrase troubled television actor Charlie Sheen has recently thrust into American pop culture. 

Reps. Jim Jordan (Ohio) and Jeff Flake (Ariz.) both published Twitter posts on Monday that use the expression "winning," which Sheen as adopted as a rallying cry in his battle with drug and alcohol addiction and his dispute with CBS over his show "Two and a Half Men."

Sheen joined Twitter last week and created the hashtag "#winning" to include in his tweets.

Jordan tweeted:

Flake also tweeted: 

Eliminating the national debt? Duh, #winning http://ht.ly/49Eoo
