The Secret Service has reportedly taken a Connecticut man into custody after, authorities allege, he threatened President Obama according to the Greenwich Post.

Obama made fundraising stops in Stamford and Greenwich on Thursday as he stumped for Connecticut's Democratic Senate candidate and state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal.

The Greenwich Post reports that Joseph Antonelli, 64, was arrested by local police and charged with three counts of disorderly conduct before the Secret Service took him into their custody.

The chairman of the Greenwich Democratic Town Committee told the local paper that he notified the Secret Service! after receiving a letter containing "non-specific threats against the President."
