Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) responded to a tweet posted by Lady Gaga on Tuesday urging her fans to call him to schedule a vote on a defense authorization bill that includes a provision repealing "Don't ask, don't tell."

"@ladygaga," Reid wrote, "There is a vote on #DADT next week. Anyone qualified to serve this country should be allowed to do so." 

The tweet linked to an announcement from Reid's reelection campaign that the bill would come to the Senate floor next week. It d! id not specify which day.
