postheadericon Palin lauds Tea Party as 'the future of politics' in new video

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) released a new video on Tuesday through her political action committee in support of the Tea Party movement.

Palin, through her group SarahPAC, released her second video after having talked up her slate of "mama grizzlies" running for office in a video earlier this summer.

The new Palin video includes clips from previous speeches of the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee praising the movement of conservative grassroots activists. The audio clips are cobbled! over video clips of Tea Party rallies and Palin meeting with members of the movement.

"It is just so inspiring to see real people â€" not politicos, not inside-the-Beltway professionals â€"come out and stand up and speak out for common-sense conservative principles," she says in the video. "This party that we call the Tea Party is the future of politics."

Palin's been one of the most prominent Republicans to embrace the movement over the past year and a half. That coziness to the Tea Party has meant Palin has turned occasionally against the GOP establishment, an element of her campaigning played out in the video.

Palin also commented on the movement in a Twitter posting early Tuesday afternoon:

Left: how can u "take on" the Tea Party? It's a MOVEMENT...of the people; u "! taking on the people"? Did u really not know it's not 1 party?!
