Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) tweeted Friday morning that she wouldn't be watching TV for the day.

"No tv today," she said. "I'm so sick and tired of looking at the nut job in Florida."

Stories about McCaskill's so-called "nut job" â€" pastor Terry Jones of the 50-member Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Fla. â€" have crowded the news cycle this week as he continued to threaten to burn copies of the Quran on Saturday, the ninth anniversary of Sept. 11.

As of Thursday evening, however, Jones said he had canceled the demonstration as part of a deal to move the Park51 mosque in lower Manhattan to a location farther fr! om Ground Zero.

Representatives from Park51 deny that they've made a deal to move the project.
