Ashton Kutcher is helping former President Clinton celebrate his birthday.

Clinton turns 64 on August 19, and he’s asking supporters to donate to the William J. Clinton Foundation for the occasion.

He’s doing that via birthdays.causes.com, a social fundraising website that allows people to raise money for a favored charity.

Kutcher used his Twitter account to promote Clinton’s request, writing: “You can help grant President Clinton's b-day wish” and then linking to the website.

The actor is one of the most popular figures on Twitter, with almost 5.5 million followers.

More than 100 people retweeted Kutcher’s tweet, including fellow actor Ben Stiller.

As of Friday morning, 42 donors had given a total of $1,100 for the president’s birthday.
