Twilight, celebrities again influence list of most popular baby names

The Social Security Administration released the most popular baby names from 2011 on Monday, and once again the popular “Twilight†series and celebrities influenced the list.
For the thirteenth year in a row, Jacob was the most popular name for boys. Jacob is a character from the Stephenie Meyer trilogy Twilight but has been popular since long before the young adult series’ publication.Â
The name Isabella â€" Bella, in the Twilight series â€" ranked No. 1 for the most popular baby name in 2009 and 2010, and fell to second place according to last year’s birth records, behind Sophia. Sophia took second place in 2010.
