Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), suspected to be close to the top of every Republican presidential candidate's wish list for a running mate, delivered a blistering critique of President Obama at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington.

"The president of the United States looks like he's a really good father, looks like he's a really good husband, but he is a terrible president," Rubio said to applause from an audience of prominent conservative activists.

Rubio blasted the president's record, arguing repeatedly that he had "failed" throughout his first term.
